Berry Crisp

Fall is the perfect time to whip up this beautiful berry crisp created by @vegamelon. It requires a Cherries + Berries MacroBar.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups mixed berries
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon, optional
  • 2 tbsp raw sugar, optional
  • 3/4 cup gluten-free rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup nuts & seeds, your choice
  • 1 Cherries + Berries MacroBar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil or nut - seed butter
  • 2 tbsp water

Directions

  1. In a bowl, toss berries with lemon juice and (optional) cinnamon + sugar. Place into a greased baking dish or cast iron skillet.
  2. In a food processor, combine the topping ingredients (oats, nuts & seeds, MacroBar, syrup, coconut oil, and water) and pulse into a homogeneous mixture.
  3. Spread the topping evenly over the berries, then bake at 350F / 180C for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm and enjoy!
